Posy Marled Cowl Kits!

We have a fluffy new project for all the mohair mavens out there: our Posy Marled Cowl! 

This featherweight, color-blocked confection of a cowl is knit with two strands of our mohair silk Loop Posy held together to envelop your neck in ultra-lightweight warmth!

This easy-to-knit cowl is made even easier with our ready-made color kits! Read on for all the details!

Posy is our dreamy, laceweight blend of fluffy mohair and lustrous silk that we dye in-house in a rainbow of tonal hues. Its fiber composition takes dye in an almost magical fashion and knits up into fabrics with a pillowy, diffused halo and mesmerizingly radiant glints of glossy silk.  

Posy is can be used in a variety of creative ways. Use a single strand to knit heirloom-worthy lace shawls. Carry one strand of Posy alongside another yarn to give any knit an extra boost of downy softness.

You can also hold two strands of Posy together, like we've done with this cowl, to create a light and lofty fabric with a bit more structure plus oodles of depth and shine!

The Posy Marled Cowl is a fun way to explore the magic of color marling - a colorfully dimensional effect created with two different colors held together.

The center section holds together a strand of the main color + a strand of contrast color while edging holds together two strands of the main color. 

To prevent excess rolling at the edges, you begin and end with a smaller needle and a purl round to create a thin, rolled edge that holds its shape. 

We've put together kits in the 4 colorways shown above.

To knit your own Posy Marled Cowl, you'll need:

• 1 Posy Marled Cowl Kit OR 1 skein each in your choice of 2 colors Posy
• US 4 + 6 24" circular needles
