INTRODUCING CRICKET!

New from Kelbourne Woolens, Cricket is here!

We love a tweed any time of year and Cricket is coming in hot as new favorite!

Read on for all the details about this remarkable new yarn, then get your tweedy fix with Cricket!

Cricket is a single-ply, 100% merino Donegal tweed milled and dyed in Ireland. In terms of gauge, it falls between a heavy fingering weight and a light sport weight and comes in generously sized 415-yard skeins.

We're huge fans of tweed yarns and the uniquely heathered depth that those gloriously colorful tweedy flecks give to knitted fabrics. Cricket has a uniquely soft texture that will provide your classic stockinette and textured knits a softness you don't often get in a traditional Donegal tweed yarn.

Cricket is also woolen spun for light, lofty warmth. Like most woolen spun yarns, it will bloom when wet-blocked, so expect your stitches to puff, soften and develop more drape, plus a delightfully gauzy halo after you handwash and air dry your knits!

THE CRICKET COLLECTION
The new Cricket pattern collection is a modern spin on classic knits! There are 6 timeless pieces in total, and they are ideal for 3-season wear due to Cricket's lightweight, warm knitted fabric. Here are our faves!
