RESTOCKED: ENTROPY DK

Entropy DK is restocked! We're so glad that you love it as much as we do -- our inaugural shipment sold out in a flash!

Entropy DK echoes handspun yarn in the most beautiful ways. Each skein is milled, dyed, and spun by Lisa Westra at Feederbrook Farms in Maryland to knit up with alluringly unexpected pops of color! You'll want to keep knitting to see which colors emerge next!

Entropy DK is a 2-ply, DK-weight, BFL yarn. BFL stands for Blueface Leicester, a breed of sheep that yields yarn with a squishy, next-to-skin softness that's right up there with merino! BFL yarn does not pill, making Entropy DK an amazing combination of softness, loft and durability!

Each skein of Entropy DK is approximately 260 yards and is so named for the randomness of colors as the singles are plied together. As you knit, the colors will gradually shift and stripe.

Please note that skein colorways are similar but not identical and will result in knits with a charming color quality typical of handspun yarn.

PRESSED FLOWERS COWL

Loop staffer Bonnie has been knitting a Pressed Flowers cowl in using Entropy DK  + Kelbourne Woolens Scout. We think they knit up beautifully together; Scout has the same slightly wooly quality and spin, and the palettes match beautifully!

This snuggly double-loop cowl is knit flat using mosaic-knit slipped stitches to create an ultra-feminine floral motif that looks especially realistic given Entropy DK's organic progression of color.
