CUMULUS DEGRADÉ

Cumulus Degradé from Juniper Moon is back for a new season with brand-new colors!

This is such a fun yarn! It has a satisfyingly long color progression that shifts from light to dark, making your warm weather color fade projects easy and addicting - you'll want to keep knitting to see those colors gradually deepen!

We love this yarn for all kinds of knits. And we especially love how beautifully it pairs with solid shades of its sister yarn, Cumulus!

Read on for our pattern ideas!

Cumulus Degradé is a worsted-weight blend of lusciously soft cotton with a touch of nylon spun into a chainette strand. You can create blankets, sweaters, and impossibly soft and lightweight accessories with a fluid drape.

Dyed in beautiful neutrals and stunning jewel tones you don't usually see in cotton yarn; it's a perfect option for wool-sensitive folks!

DREA IN CUMULUS

The Drea Shawl is one of our favorite ways to play with color while creating a stripe-tastically wearable accessory!

We've given this Loop classic a fun, summery update by combining the cool cotton colors of Cumulus + Cumulus Degradé from Juniper Moon. The result is impossibly soft, light, and lofty - with no wool in sight!

Using solid color Cumulus with Cumulus Degradé is a lovely way to ground and frame the ombré gradients of Cumulus

Depending on which way you work from the ball, Cumulus Degradé's color slowly transitions in intensity. This color melting adds plenty of visual interest to your knits, and the yarn does all the work!

This season we're carrying a few neutral shades of Cumulus that will go beautifully with all the Degradé shades! Here are some of our favorite combinations:

greyhound with key lime pie, wisteria park or scarlet ibis
sandy castle with seattle garden, cedar bells  or phoenix pearls
narwhale with mountain summit, poppy meadow or senna sandcastle

To knit your own Drea Shawl, you'll need:

CUMULUS DEGRADE BABY BLANKET

Our Cumulus Degradé pram blanket is a simple garter stitch snuggler that lets the yarn's ombre shading shine!

This blanket is relaxing and easy, especially for beginners comfortable with the knit stitch, increasing and decreasing.

When you cast on for the Cumulus Blanket, you'll enjoy watching the colors meander from one hue to the next. And the simple stitching will give you plenty of headspace to think happy thoughts about your blanket's adorable recipient!

To achieve our blanket's light-to-dark ombré look, we began by knitting from the inside of one ball of Cumulus Degradé; then, we worked inward from the outside of a second ball.

The finished dimensions of our blanket are 30" x 30".

To knit a Cumulus Baby Blanket, you'll need:
